Wrestlemania 42 match card predictions

WrestleMania 42 is fast approaching, and fans are becoming psyched for the potential women's matches that may appear. There have been rumors about a possibility of there being up to 6 women's matches on the entire two-night card. This would break the record for most women’s matches at a WrestleMania. The prospects are endless and the talent that can create magic in Las Vegas is limitless. Let’s start with the two confirmed women’s matches. 

Stephanie Vaquer vs Liv Morgan for the WWE Women’s World Championship
 
This match has the potential to be a show stealer within the two nights. Both Stephanie and Liv have the star power to headline a show and create magic within the ring. My prediction is that Liv Morgan wins the WWE Women’s World Championship after a banger of a match. 

Jade Cargill vs Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women’s Championship

This is the biggest women’s match they could possibly do at the moment without the likes of Bianca Belair stepping foot in the ring in April. Two women who are the epitome of strength and power will make for a must watch match. My prediction is that Rhea Ripley being the biggest star in the women’s division at the moment, wins the WWE Women’s Championship and has a long reign in the future. 

Now here are my predictions for the matches that have not been confirmed for WrestleMania. There are many women fighting for their spot on the card and unfortunately not everyone can end up on WrestleMania. 

AJ Lee vs Becky Lynch for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship 

AJ Lee and Becky Lynch have had a few encounters since AJ Lee returned to the WWE after a decade. The Wrestlepalooza mixed tag team match with Seth Rollins and CM Punk, and the Elimination Chamber singles match where AJ Lee won the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Their story does not seem to have a final ending yet as shenanigans went on during their Elimination Chamber match with the referee. I have Becky Lynch winning this match and becoming a 3x WWE Women’s Intercontinental champion. 
Giulia vs Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s United States Championship

WWE has not done much for the WWE Women’s United States Championship, leaving Giulia to fend for herself during Smackdown, the title has not even appeared on a PLE. Reports came out that WWE is thinking about a program between Giulia and Tiffany Stratton for WrestleMania. Tiffany is an incredible wrestler, with star power and charisma that would allow Giulia to really shine and showcase her true ability in WWE. If this ends up being the match at WrestleMania, this will be the first time a WWE Women’s United States Championship match is presented on a PLE, and what better PLE than WrestleMania to display this title? Tiffany Stratton will win this match and elevate the title to more extensive heights. 



Asuka vs Kairi Sane vs Iyo Sky

The story with Asuka and Kairi Sane has been building for months now, expecting to reach its peak during this WrestleMania season. There were a few reports that WWE is planning on doing Asuka vs Iyo Sky during WrestleMania in Vegas. While this would be a match of the year contender, I feel that Kairi Sane cannot be left off of the card this year. She's done the work and the storytelling to really carry this feud into the show and deserves to be on the card with the other women. A triple threat match would be thrilling for us fans to watch and really push the envelope for the event. Iyo Sky, Asuka and Kairi Sane are three of the best women’s wrestlers in the world and all have history with each other. Kairi Sane should win this match and get a major push heading out of WrestleMania. 


Nia Jax & Lash Legend vs Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss vs Bayley & Lyra Valkyria vs The Bella Twins in a TLC match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships

Nia Jax and Lash Legend are the WWE women’s tag team champions at the moment, and I believe they are going to be dominant heading into WrestleMania as champions. All of these women are featured and thriving on WWE television at the moment. They are going to be rewarded with a major TLC match at WrestleMania. This could be a major call back to the legendary TLC men’s tag team championship match at WrestleMania 17. Who wouldn’t want to see these women all get the chance to shine and go to war in the name of adding a tag team championship to their stacked resumes? The Bella Twins have for years now stated that they want to win the tag team titles and have a run at it. I have the Hall of Famers winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 42 and further cementing their place in WWE history. 

Nobody knows what the full WrestleMania 42 card is going to be just yet, but these are just some ideas to get people, especially women’s wrestling fans pumped for the event. If these six matches take place during the PLE we will once again be witnessing history occur during the biggest wrestling event of the year.
